finally our internet connection is working and i can let you know what we've been up to this summer and fall. briefly, we left Mazatlan and came home for two months. we just couldn't stand the heat and humidity any longer and James, our housesitter, was going to be gone so we figured it was a good time to leave. we loved every minute of being home. the weather was perfect (not hot), we spent lots of time with the cats and the bird, and we visited with all our friends.
i made several trips into the city when my friend rupama came out for a visit and Jim got to participate in another alcatraz swim (he's somewhere in that crowd photo). the old rake was from a trip to half moon bay.
