Sept. 30 - Breakfast in the hotel was great – really creamy oatmeal that tasted more like a dessert. We checked out the local museum and learned the words for some of the unusual items sold in stores. After the rainstorm we hiked up to estatua cristo and saw how large Creel really is, just not easily accessible on foot.
Oct. 1 - Great oatmeal again and then a walk back up main street to buy the big drum I’d been lusting after. I know Jim was wondering where it would fit on the boat. The weather was cool with no humidity and I dreaded going back to Mazatlan’s heat, but we prepared ourselves for a very long day of train travel back to Los Mochis.
