Tonala & Tlaquepaque on oct. 30

teatro degollado at night. behind it we saw a couple free performances that were spectacular.

the cathedral in downtown guadalajara

1937 mural of miguel hidalgo by jose clemente orozco - his eyes follow you no matter where you stand - it's in the palacio de gobierno

so there was this guy walking by with his pet iguana and jim thought he was really cool (the iguana, not the guy)

one of the shops in Tonala had an amazing assortment of crosses.

After a yummy breakfast it was out to Tonala and Tlaquepaque for my kind of day – shopping and more shopping. We got back to Guadalajara in time to wander the downtown plazas and watch a free musical performance of local mariachi bands behind the teatro.
