In case you’re interested in following the race, here’s the link. Reading the sailors’ comments in the log gives you a sense of what it’s like for them and why they do this. They call in at 9 AM and 9 PM everyday. They’ve run out of wind so are just floating around. Jim’s boat is Chesapeake.
